Aghios Georgios beach belongs to the municipality of Aghios Georgios and its name is related to the small church which is located in the center of the long sandy beach. The 3 km long beach is situated in the northwest side of the island of Corfu between the famous bay of Paleokastritsa and Arilas bay. It is a sandy beach surrounded by two green hills with a small creek the middle.

The clear water is ideal for swimming and the beach is generally recognised as the clearest and most quite beach in the island awarded with the Blue Flag of the E.U.
In the beach someone can also enjoy a great variety of water sports while at the evening can enjoy the beautiful and last sunset on the island.Visitors can also enjoy delightful walks across the creek or they can do jogging around the hills.
 
Aghios Georgios beach is the place where Odysseus arrived drifted from the sea to Feakes Island and in the small creek he met princess Nausika.
